Re: Unidentified beeping

I think you guys might be on to something. On the way in to work this morning it was beeping more than ever. At first I thought it was happening whenever I hit a bump, but I don't think that is the case. And there were random yellow flashes on the dashboard which looked like the ABS light. Then at s...

No (unless you count the 1000w sub... but then that's always in there ;))
does the bulb on the dash light up when you pull the handbrake up?
Yep, and goes off when I take the handbrake off...

Hmm, reckon I'd have trouble driving if the handbrake was on. Though I guess it could be a bit loose / damaged / whatever... ?

Unidentified beeping

In the last few days I have been randomly getting get three short beeps. I don't get a warning light on the dash or anything and it appears to come randomly. I have had some undientified electrical faults recently, and the airbag light is permanently on on the dash (long story) but the beeping is ne...

They are red. Actually the garage did it for me (long story short, they split one of them whilst servicing the car, so I insisted they replace) - they told me that they are VAG parts.

I just had to replace the leads on mine. They're about 14 each.
