After cleaning the throttle body you should use VAG_COM to re adapt it, vag will also tell you what the error code means. I believe that the ECU will relearn some settings over time so you light may go out by itself over a few days. But try and find someone local who has a copy of VAG to check.

as above in good working condition............. mine is very chattery and is leaking :x I am in Swindon but travel a lot with work so end up all over the place.

Cheers for the reply, I will look for the suspect hose as soon as things warm up, I checked the boot lock and it has signs of corrosion so I guess this is why the luggage compartment light doesn't work. I will get a replacement from VW. It's funny I had to change one of these on my Audi because I ...
