Re: mini wheels

Re: garage used different oil
The engine should have 10w40 in it as per factory spec, but a 5w40 can be used if its put in. You can even run fully synth 0w30 in the engine if you like, but not many do it as its expensive! Surprising the 10w40 gave you an oil check light - you sure it wasnt a filter problem at all? no filter pro...

Re: Tyre stretching
You do realise that the more stretch you have the more load is put on the side-wall of the tyre? Its got more chance of blowing out especially if you do alot of motorway driving. I think a 195/45/15 tyre is sufficient on a 15" rim, but anyways, that's my opinion. Yes Major stretch will cause p...

Re: POLO GTI FINANCE £3000
the problem you have is that most finance companys wont give finance on a car over 5 years old! your best bet would be a bank loan and try and haggle a better price out them for cash!

Re: I need the : GTI split rim refurb DIY guide
ahhhh what i would do then is still split the wheel as its 10x easier to do the whole lip and you wont damage the centers in the process! the strip the laquer off which some nitromors or paint stripper rub down with 600 wet and dry in some hot soapy water, then go to 800 wet and dry and finally fini...
