Re: Bouncy Bouncy
Thats why I'm skeptical about getting coilies
I guess you gotta comprimise, maybe just raise it slightly, find the point in which you can bare it.

Re: Swapping door cards
Yeah I'm thinking of popping the bit that needs red out, retrimming and putting it back in.
Has anybody here had any experience with getting them out? How is that red part connected to the rest?

Re: Swapping door cards
I just took a trip to VW and asked how much the red door cards would be! £126 PER DOOR CARD
Surely thats not for just the red bit only, and he thought I meant for everything?

Swapping door cards
Hey just wondering
I got a red 5 door version, and it's pretty sexy, but I've always loved the look of the red door cards, and mine is a later model (right?) that doesn't have them.
Is there anywhere I can purchase the door cards from, maybe VW themselves? Also, they will fit right?

Re: Oh lord!
Public transport unfortunately due to my area would mean being late for work and sorting something out with them, so it's kinda a last resort, and nope family members all use their cars daily.

Re: Oh lord!
Thats a bit of bad luck to have both of those problems sprung on you at the same time! Your wallet will feel abused!
Not to mention I need a car whilst all this is happening, 10 days without a car for me is like actual hell.

Check this...
Took my car in to my family friend mechanic on sunday to get a noise checked, this is the problems they have came up with:
- Air Conditioning Compressor has gone screwy, made a really loud ticking noise. Mechanic phoned up VW and even with his discount could only get it down to £568 ...

Re: Gearbox Oil?
Aries, generally gearbox oil should last the lifetime in the car. Polo's seem to have a problematic box hence why i asked...Generally the selector seal causes oil leaking from the box (which is located at the rear of the box). Re: Gearbox Oil?
Before I ask this...I'm sorry for being so s**t with cars...
Where the engine would I be able to change the gearbox oil?
What symptoms are common with this type of failure (going through some problems with mine)
