Top suspension bearings on older models (front) if theres a problem with these bearings, you can usually hear them "cracking"

Actually I only bought it last year to tide me over for six weeks as my other MK4 was written off and I was waiting for my cheque, but ended up keeping it until now as it turned out to be a reliable little runner and it never let me down once (good old VW) Regards, Tony.

Hi, I have a 1990 hatch, tax until end of April, MOT until 20th June 09, needs fuel gauge sorting, a decent spare wheel/tyre, sun roof howls but leaks very very little, heater works only on full, judders in 1st & reverse on take off (I don't even notice it any more) but may need a patch on under...
