Does anybody know if....

... the pedal box issue affects Mk 6 & Mk 7 polos???

I've owned both a mk 4 & mk 5 and it happened to both of them. I'm planning on buying a new car soon and trying to decide whether to consider a polo again.....

Thanks

Weird Electric Problem

Re: Front tow bar on 6n2...?

There is a tow hook screw behind the drivers side fog cover

Though BE CAREFUL. I once watched a polo being towed, and it ripped the towing eye out! So i suggest you tow it on a more secure location underneath the car.

ok, so if i do it that way i need one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine ...

Front tow bar on 6n2...?

Does anyone know if a front tow bar is standard on a 6n2 polo?
I know my old 6n didnt have one.

If there isnt, is there any part of the car i can attach a tow rope to, to be able to tow it?

PS - i cant go and look if it has a bar as it is far away.

Re: 6n2 1.4 16v using loads of petrol & giving no power

if it's the 16v 75bhp you're talking about, they are still pretty slow.

i believe it is supposed to be 75bhp, but surely it shouldnt be significantly slower than an 8v :S

i mean, pulling off from a junction it feels as slow as my old 1.0 12v corsa :(

Could be a number of things, how is your ...

6n2 1.4 16v using loads of petrol & giving no power

Hi,
I recently upgraded from a '99 1.4 8v to a '01 1.4 16v.
I expected it to be more powerful, but it has hardly any power whatsoever (eg. - if i tried to race my old 8v i would get owned)
Also, its using about 50% more fuel, and is rather loud when accelerating over 2500 rpm.

Any ideas what the ...
