Hi well i got my car done with the bloke i knew and it cost 125. No1 likes parting with money! But its better than the hundreds id had to have paid at hi-q. Ive got my re-test tues so it had better pass!! Forums are what rants are for and for people to help others etc so rant away if it helps..i did!

I took my polo for its MOT yesterday for it to fail on rear bushes. At hi-q they said they would cost £95 each plus half a days labour. I walked away from that thinking that sounds a bit steep. Ive gone to some1 i know that specialises in vw's and he said he could get me good quality 1s for £12 each ...

Thanks again for all your suggestions. Ill pass them on to my bloke then he can investigate..hes into his cars and can do most things with a little help and advice. Hi again, thanks for the replies. We have had a look in the boot area at all the cables and it all looks fine there, theres no cables separated or anything like that so im stumped?

Hi there i need some help with my rear washer. The hose has popped off somewhere. My bf has checked inside the boot lid and its on the wiper motor fine so it must must have come off somewhere else, we just dont know where else they fail ? Its the frost thats caused it to pop off somewhere. We both ...

Just not in this case! It works when the wiper cap is off? But when you put that back on it misses it again

Hi all. Since buying my 1.2 in march ive had a problem with it. When i use the back wiper it misses half the window out..its gettin quite irritating now seeing water etc on back window all the time. Hi all. Why does my car want to stall a lot? When its still the engine just seems juddery. It makes me look like im a crap driver..help!! :?

When a fault occurs the warning light will come on, if no faults, including this one occur remain, the light will go off after maybe 6 or 7 engine starts. So, that means that your car did have a fault - but it "went away" and so 6 or 7 engine starts later the light went out. What has happened now ...
