My window is sticking, so it goes up and then stops and goes down a little, i have to push the button rapidly to get it up as well as pushing it with my hand

how can i get to see where the motor is? do i neeed to take off the door panel?

is it easy enough to do? I have some tools and some diy ...

all that needs doing is the front pads, and the driver window is playing up, not the motor it's just ...

Rear sock absorbers (leaking) (repair £400)
ns wheel bearing repair £75
rear brakes (binding, uneven) £? they don't know exactly what the problem is yet so can't get a quote
windscreen wipers £20
handbrake £50

Recently my car's fan has been making a funny noise, someone told me it's the bearings in the fan and the whole lot will maybe need replacing

i don't really know much about cars, i don't even know how the fan works, all i know is it keeps the engine cool?

after i stop the car the fan keeps ...

the thing is now i have already paid for the MOT i will have to probably get the same garage to fit them

i just got my MOT test results back, failed :( the guy reckons the 2 front tyres both have rips on the inner sides and need replacing

i asked him if i can provide the tyres, he agreed

I know for a fact i would get over priced for the tyres as you would at any garage, so i would like to find out ...

I am selling my GTI, it's in really good condition, 63k on the clock, a recently fitted reconditioned gearbox (done at 60k miles) and clutch newish tyres
climate control, bluetooth for your phone, tinted windows at the rear, clear rear lights.

I'm looking for £2800 for it, well worth the price ...

The gearbox makes a scrapping metal like sound, at lower speeds it's not as bad

I bought my GTI a few months ago, the seller told me the gear box was rebuilt and I have a receipt for over £1000 on the work carried out 1.5 years ago

I bought a GTI a few months ago, the guy told me it had a new gear box rebuilt on 10/2007 I have the invoice for a price of £1056.00 the milage is fairly low for it's age 58k
