i think a few people have over exaggerated what i've done to these springs, i have over 100lb in the rear of the car and have NEVER 'bottomed out' going over bumps or dips in the road.

cutting springs on standard suspension is not good, everyone knows that! but if you read the text under the pics. you would have seen my suspension IS uprated and stiffend. so by cutting one loop off this has very little effect other that to lower the car a ...

i am also "not a fan" of cutting down the springs on standard dampers, but in the text my suspension is uprated and can be used with an 80mm drop. i just trimmed them down a touch.

everyone keeps saying that my car should be in a mag. but i always wimp out. all i have done is my own work as well. i have never been able to grasp the fact that people throw thousands of £s at a car and get someone else to do all the work and then say-

yeah, i would agree 45hz would sound very gutsy but the port lenth will be too long and it would have to be 'L' shaped. not the best for air movment and max spl.
i can tune down to 52hz, with a straight port.

trial and error me thinks.

the box will be 16cf3 with 4 15"ers. the port tuned to 65hz -h 23.5" w 23.5 d 4.3" and placed behind the drivers seat.
bracing is a must, to try and stop any panel flexing. would 18mm mdf be thick enough?
