Re: Throttle Pedal adjustment
These polos don’t have a throttle cable, it’s controlled electronically and has a throttle control sensor at the top of the accelerator pedal linked to the ECU to the throttle body. There is a bit of play on the pedal, I have a GTI which does lift towards you quite a bit.

Re: 085 gearbox rebuild
Hello mate, I’ve taken the same gearbox apart and removed the shaft as I had to take the shaft seal out and replace the one on my car. Long story short, the guy I had look at my gearbox cocked up replacing the shaft seal so it dropped all on the GB oil after a few days of running. It’s pretty easy a...

Climatronic control unit
Hi,
Probably an easy answer but can the digital Climtronic unit be fitted to a car that has the twisty knobs as standard?

Re: Window down quick, up slow
The plastic clips are always the weakest part, I had the same issue recently, was really struggling to raise and needed to help it up. This was due to where the cable locates in the clip on the runner, it had broken so the motor was trying to pull up on one clip which created an imbalance and hence ...

Re: What do people say when they see your GTI?
My GTi is completely standatd apart from G60 steels on for the winter. At 33 I dont think I will be doing any major mods though (trying to buy a house!). Recent comments: "do you want to sell you wheels" "the chrome dials are peng" "really clean car for its age" "y...

Re: Re-furbed split rim bbs 15's
Cheers pal!
Yeah I have bought some spray paint to do the calipers as i have noticed they are a bit dull looking. So many things i want to do, some more important than others but time and money are major factors.
