I want to have a go at polishing up my ratty looking heat shield that covers the exhaust manifold, it looks easy enough to remove with just 2 bolts at the top. Is this right or is there any other hidden fastenings that need to be removed before taking it out?

Hi For sale is a genuine front VW grill badge (6N2 fitment) and a genuine rear VW badge (6N/6N2 fitment). Both have been wrapped in 3M Carbon fibre vinyl and the rear badge has had the back panel sprayed silver but can easily be removed and resprayed a different colour. NEVER FITTED! Looking for £18...

Yeah thought as much, my mate has a lupo gti so same engine and hes got a custom alloy air feed it looks really good. What sort of lengths and bends have you gone for? And Im sure you could fit them together with silicon hoses etc?

Got the standard procedure BMC induction kit on my 6n2 gti, but its just connected to the standard air feed. Ive seen people ripping this out and fitting some better ducting but just wondering if anyone here has put in a metal/alloy cold air feed? Seen some going on elsewhere think they look real sm...

Yeah it wasnt so much for the look more protecting the vinyl. Im pretty sure you can pick up matt finish laquer anyway, just a little job I thought Id do over summer hols. Still yet to get it on though theyre sitting in a drawer back home atm!
