Hi Guys,
Just run a VAG-COM diag on my Polo 9N (BBZ) and I have the above error. Apparently this is a common fault and often rectified by a good clean.
Porblem is I can't locate the Exhaust Gas Return system. I've read it should be close / on the exhaust manifold. Well I have found a picture of ...

Re: Cruise Control System
And 5 years later...
I doubt a dealer would retro fit cruise control on a polo as the small platform means taking out the dashboard. They did my old man's GTI Mk V (is it Mk 5 on 57?) in a few hours. I have a sneeking suspision all the wiring is there. Remove airbag, steering wheel and fit the new ...

Independent Garage
Hi All,
Can anyone recommend an independent VW garage in London. Prefer the south east, and with VAS 5052 but beggers can't be choosers.
Thanks
Woter

Heated Seats - Anybody got? Help Please
Hi all,
By popular request, I am looking into heated seat upgrade.
It's quite an easy mod, however newer 9N's (2003>>) have the heater element built into the seat cover fabric. Therefore I expect it will be expensive  .
I have got a parts list prepared for a quotation, however the erWin ...

Cruise Control System
CCS WORKS
After 8 months of research, orders etc the damn thing works. Light comes on the dash etc..
Once stag at the minute, the + (Reset) button doesn't work. However I think this may be due to me wiring the diode the wrong way round. Full details to be posted soon.

AADIRVM & RS Retro fit. SUCCESS!!!
For those of you interested I have finally installed the Automatic anti dazzle interior rear view mirror and rain sensor.
Total cost £325.90 (GBP) incuding a new windscreen!!!
Probably cost less if I'd ordered all the parts in one go.
I used new, correctly coded wire. I have stacks left over in ...

Qu: Arm Rest part Number
Does anyone know the part number for the arm rest? I saw it in a picture on this forum some time ago relating to something else and I can't remember what it was. My version of Etka doesn't show it, either because it's too old or it was on a model like the 4X4 version that not listed.
Many thanks in ...

Turn the lights on automatically
Does anyone know if there is a device that will automatically switch on the lights as it gets dark. What is it called? I am wondering if one of the other VW models may have a compatible device as I haven't heard it mentioned.

Rain sensor & RVM Dimmer
I've been away (funnily enough three days in Istanbul) and haven't had a chance to do anything since the last post. I havn't had a price from VAG-Parts yet.
Post when I do.
