For sale, rear lights that have been on the car for about a year.

Straight swap out for the existing units. Some of the bulbs need to be moved from the existing unit into the new one as only the "special" bulbs are included.

Double Din JVC KW-Xr611

For sale is the unit which was in the car from August 2011 when it was purchased new. This is a double din unit which came out of the 6N2 where it fitted absolutely fine connecting to the existing cables (only needed the aerial converter plug to add to the existing aerial connector. No cables need c...

Re: 2 year old Polo 1.4SE

Yes, agreed on that. Even on the VW website it states that every car after 2008 has its first brake fluid replaced after 3 years, then after that - every 2 years. Just does not make sense to be. Assuming the production date a few months before delivery, add 3 years and you will have brake fluid of c...

2 year old Polo 1.4SE

Just bought a two year old 1.4SE (my old 6N2 is in the for sale section :D ) and I have a question on the brake fluid service. The dealer is refusing to change the brake fluid prior to the sale as they state it should be done at 3 years old, not 2. To me that makes no sense as every car I have owned...

Re: Central Locking leak (at filler position) - now failed !

I thought it was the pump as well but could not explain why the central locking would work from inside the car using the lock and unlock button.

Re: Central Locking leak (at filler position) - now failed !

Where is the micro switch? I took the door card off and some of the cover to look and just saw a plastic box where the blue tube goes in.

The fuse of rclick is fine, I checked that and the box clicks and the indicators flash.

Your help is appreciated !

Re: Central Locking leak (at filler position) - now failed !

Can the internal central locking still work if the fuse had gone?

Re: Central Locking - failed now

Ok, update on this now. I have had a look in the boot and could not find anything wrong as such. Now the fault has developed in a more serious one and the following is the current state: - I can centrally lock / unlock from the switch on the driver's door - When turning the key in the drivers door, ...
