Hi everyone

I had a cam belt failure yesterday and am selling the Polo GTI for spares or repairs.

Prognosis
The garage fitted a new cam belt kit (£290) in the hope the engine was unscathed but ended up needing to be opened up. All 16 valves need replacing but the rest of the engine is intact ...

Also, I'm trying to source some bolts to replace the missing ones. After I've done that I'll take some nice pics and post it here as had a couple of PM's already. But that might take me a few days so watch this space!

As I wrote here (http://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=52539) one of my alloys is missing some bolts. Some idiot must have loosened them over the weekend...unless they were refitted badly in the first place. Shouldn't be coz I've been driving this set for over a year!

Do you know which bolt one I need for the stock Polo GTI BBS RXII split rims:

Garage just told me that I'm missing 5 bolts from one of my 15" BBS RxII!! Whoops.

Anyone know what size they are because they can't get it from the main dealer so I'll have to get it myself, short of replacing the whole wheel.

Bolts - I hope so! I did have tyres fitted recently but the noise started before I did that.
Pads/Discs - About 1.5 years ago when I first got the car.

My driver's window stopped working all winter. It would not open even if I held key in open position for 10 seconds. I tested the switches by swapping it over and they seemed to open the passenger's side OK. Yesterday, my driver's window started working! I think the polo doesn't ...
