little update debadge grill is fitted looks cleaner on the front but now the number plate stands out way to much anything legal i can do so it dont stand out so much

well i had this problem and just cleaned it out with crap cleaner works fine now only prob i found is that if u take the throttle body off the car u need to get it set up again using something like vagcom

quick update i have taken off the mud flaps and have changed the headlight bulbs to phillips xtreme power bulbs which i would recommend as a budget alternative to hids. i have ordered a debadge grill from the bay for 20 pound and plan to take off bump strips next sat will put up new pics next week ...

thanks for the replys im very much an oem+ whore really i like to keep things as close to standard as pos so prob will stick to original vw wheels gonna debadge to tidy the front and get ride of side strips debating on a bonnet bra but dont no really if be ott on the front gonna get some german ...

I got the aeroblades from german and swedish they were 20 made by bosch and fit straight on prob wil debadge grill refurb the wheels and take off bump strips but should i really change my 16v rear lights for red mk5s think i prefer the standard tinted 1s

debadged grill pos dont really wanna touch inside or go ott jus want subtle outside mods hate window tint unless ur goin for the stelth look and gonna keep the side strips for the mo as the misses will be driving it lol

was thinking something like that but was thinking maybe colourcoded spokes on white dish or other way round not fond of black wheels think they look dirty in my opinion, otherwise was thinking maybe sell the solitudes and get some rxII 6n2 gti wheels spraying them white with a mirrored dish or third ...

must add that it aint the actuall headlights that i have sprayed had some light protectors hanging around so sprayed them just for fun i call them sunglasses maybe start a new craze on the scene lol or not

as above this is my 6n 1.4 16v i have owned for the last 6months now that i have sorted all the silly commen faultss i have started to add some subtle little mods which are:
aero blade wipers (def recommended)
removed sticky badges from boot lid to give it a smoother look
added vw solitude alloy ...

ye law stats that the front numberplate has be facing forward in front of the wheels ie bumer bonnet grill most be of correct size but dont matter wear u put it providing its in front of the wheels and visable if u stand facing the front of ur car

ye iv done this and iv also replaced the doorcard membrane think i might just bight the bullet and get a new seal see wat that does hopefully that wil stop the water traveling up and over it
