Re: Pedal Box Creaking
I've had the exact same problem on my 6n2 mate, happened only a few weeks ago, took it to volkswagen to ask for a goodwill gesture nd they said they could do it for 400 quid inc. labour, so me and my dad bought a brand new box nd shear bolts for 44 quid and fixed it ourselves, it runs an absolute dr...

Re: EPC and Engine warning light
Hi chris, thanks for the help and info, had the car scanned with VAGcom and the engine check and EPC light are related to a fault on the manifold pressure sensor. I also had the ABS light which came up when testing it which was a fault with the speed sensor on the rear wheel.

Re: induction kit
Hi guys, not been on here in ages.
i've still got the good old 6N2 polo 1.4 16v, just wondering if anyone has ever done an engine conversion, i have heard of people putting a 100 bhp golf engine into a 6N2, is this true? Also how costly would it be?
Cheers

Re: induction kit
Not been on here in a bit. Over the christmas holidays, when driving my polo, in 1st and 2nd with high revs, there is a high pitched whirry kind of noise. Would the following make it sound better?: K&N 57i induction kit A Cobra Sport exhaust backbox http://www.exhaustsuk.co.uk/onlineshop/product...

Re: induction kit
Thanks for that mate, i shall look into it. I have decided not to re-map my first car due to the initial cost and the premium on my insurance will rocket if i tell them. What price would you say is reasonable for a 2001 VW polo gti?

Re: induction kit
Yh i've seen the same website you're on about i think m8. i'm tempted by this, but as this is my first car, is it really worth spendin about £270? Also, does an induction kit on reli warrant telling the insurers about it considering the very few extra horsepower you get?

Re: induction kit
Cheers mate, i've bin looking at sportex exhausts for a full system, however, when i come to check the compatability of it on my polo, there is no option for 1.4 polo's after 2000? Have you got an exhaust on your polo? nd what year model is it?

induction kit
Hi people, I am new to this site.
I have a 2001 reg vw polo 1.4 16v (75bhp). I was wondering if any of you could tell me whether it is worth buying an induction kit and if it would affect insurance.
Any help would be much appreciated
