I have only just started noticing the occasional unsmooth gearchange

Can anyone help? I don't want to change the headunit from the standard one as it looks so purty in the dark does anyone know if it has red & white phono connections so I can bung my ipod in, just bought a tape converter & the sound is terrible.

Any Ideas?

mine too, they made no fuss whatsover...well chuffed considering I bought the car two days ago! will it get rid of notchy gear changes ? or is that my gearbox on the way out?

Thanks for the replies, sadly its not a VW dealer I bought it from, just some dodgy garage, I don't reckon it stalls often enough for them to bother to do anything, it stalled again on my way to the VW garage at lunch, once again a short drive, the car was fine starting up..a few traffic lights late...

Cheers for the help, i'm planning on getting it checked over just incase. I realised it stalled straight after filling up. Both times the car had been really low on petrol so i'm assuming its s**t in the bottom of tank maybe getting into the engine? gonna keep her filled up from now on
