The part you need is: 6C0 601 171 - I would go and see TPS in Aberdeen, they are open to the public and ask for a discount....

Re: GTI+ left air vent rattle

I would give your dealer a chance to fix it, you have up to 6 months to report rattles on a new car. You've just given them a large chunk of change for a new car so a rattle on the left side of the dash is v. annoying. If you take the dash trim out and damage it your liable, if they take it out and ...

Re: Condensation in fog light

I've had a problem previously with fog lights on an Audi A5 when I retro fitted whiter ones to match the Xenon headlights. Turned out the bulbs were poor quality and their built in water seals were like a sieve !!

If you are a member of the RAC you could call them and get them to come read the fault codes for you.

Re: The Great Tyre Debate

You pay your money and you take your chance. I used to be a big fan of Pirelli PZero Assometrico's back in the day but Michelin recognised as the best tyres you can get in my opinion right now. I have Michelin super sports on my BMW M2 (factory fitted) and people on the bimmerpost forum are saying t...

Re: The Great Tyre Debate

There is a rectangular hole on the body shell above the red circle under the liner where the loose cable clips into... It will be interesting to see if the cable is loose on the rear left arch.

Re: The Great Tyre Debate

I've just removed the offside (Drivers) rear wheel, the wheel well lining is slightly bowed but not that bad - although I have nothing to compare against really !!. I have reseated the torx screws as shown in the pictures below circled in green. There is also a clip which goes underneath the car tow...

Re: The Great Tyre Debate

If I get a chance this weekend I will remove the rear wheel on the drivers side and see how the liner is held in place. I'm hoping it's just simple clips which just need to be removed and re-seated. For me, I'm interested in the 225 width to provide extra grip / traction with 200ps going through th...

Re: The Great Tyre Debate

We got our GTI+ today, already thinking about dong this?

If people are super worried you could always get 5mm spacers which would give you that bit extra clearance.

You’re catching me up, mines on a ship stopping at Vigo on 4am Saturday morning and it was built in March! Blimey it is a slow process! That’s COVID for you. I hope knowing it was built has helped ease the wait slightly? How did you find out what ship it was on? I’m trying to put it at the back of ...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?

New car looks mint, need to get yourself a flat bottom wheel from an RS4 / 5 - very chunky. Quattro will come in handy in the winter though, good choice, congrats.... MJ

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?

This led have the same power consumption, so no need to change anything on the car. I got the same that I was told to by other user but at ebay (they got a bit more expensive since I bought them): https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/264669415032 They look great, easy to change? Can I also ask what size you...
