Honestly those panel gaps are way better than the full size version

Even with the limited colours you could just take a rattle can to it.

Still no news on the delivery of the car, spoke to the dealer on the 12th of May - no feedback on whether its stuck in Europe or not - v. frustrating !!

I would be tempted to pull out the air vent and run the car for a bit with it removed , see if the sound persists e.g. eliminate the air vent from being part of the issue.
