Hmm thinking mine is on it's way out, it's getting quite stiff, and makes a crunching noise going into 4th now and again... Does that sound like it's going?

Hey guys, I've been having problems for a while now with my car stuttering and sometimes cutting out... only way to explain it is it's as if the car sneezes... anyway... I'm at college doing an automotive course so I took it in to have a look ran diagnostics on it and found out (i think) that it is ...

I had this sort of problem as well but mine was just juddering and cutting out sometimes, found it its a problem with my variable cam timing, so the injectors don't know when to put fuel to the piston, only found out today so haven't sorted it yet... trying to find sumone who knows more about it......
