well worth it i had a front lower and rear upper on my mk1 and it was a great improvement :D cornering was more precise :)

i dont think it is possible at all IIRC power steering was first made available in the mk4 and all of the suspension and steering components will be incompatible with a mk2.

on the top of the box just below the thermostat housing, theres a series of numbers the code is there the numbers indicate build date. HTH

first thing that springs to mind is blocked breather system causing the oils seals to go due to the build up of pressure. sorry i can't be of anymore assistance.

should be pritty straight forward to wire up

at a guess, so its not my fault if it blows up :lol:

red = batt positive
black = negative
green = coil trigger trace, can't remember which coil terminal
brown = illumination

sorry i can't offer much help but i'm not well up on the mk4, but if the problem occured after fitting the head unit then i would remove it and see if the fault goes. One possability though is a faulty ignition switch. HTH
