Stick on with some kind of double sized tape I guess

Did you check price with dealer first? seen a couple of stuff on ebay, from german sellers, badges, that are more expensive than a dealer price

hopefully you paid right though :)

Checked with them - and they wouldnt quote me !!!

It seems about right tho VW do like to sell stuff at silly prices :)

They should do, it's a standard VW part.

Just go in to the parts dept and say, how much is the front Badge for say a 2000 Beetle.

(Ignore my post about just finding badges the same as the 6N2 on the Beetles, every one I have seen out and about has the blue and white)

*EDIT* Did you try and get a price from VAG Parts as well?

I think the parts man at VW recognised my voice - all i ever do is phone up get part numbers and prices - but never buy anything :)

They are probably pissed off with me :)

Rite - phoned a different stealership and the badges are :-

12.71 plus the vodka (VAT)

So about 13.50/14.00 so i have cancelled my bid on ebay and paid VW instead :)

Still think its steep for a badge tho !!
