Hi All
I was removing the clifford arrow 5 alarm from my polo.
I was checkingengine starting and running each step as I was removing each wire. Now my car when I turn the ignition on there are no lights appearing on the dash as if it's dead, but when I try to start the engine it is turn over well and definetly not a dead battery as it is new.
There is no lights at all on the dash and I presumed I may have shorted the ecu so I disconnected the ecu completely and am getting the exact same symptoms with the ecu disconnected.
I've checked all fuses and nothing is blown. I don't know how to check if relays are causing issue.
Any help would be much appreciated, such as quick way to check ECU with multimeter etc.

Re: Removing car alarm
Welcome,
Seems nothing more complex that the wires to the back of the clocks have not been pushed back correctly ???
