Hi there ...I have a 2012 polo vivo 1.6 gt .My car radiator fan does not kick in when the engine reaches temperature and then begins to overheat and boil off the coolant from the water reservoir tank. I changed the fan switch on the thermostat housing still same problem..I then unplugged the fan switch and now the radiator fan runs at top speed all the time .I was told that the fan relay may be shot but I dot know where the fan relay is or how to test if it is gone ...Can anyone send some advice on where to start with solving this issue please .

Not familiar with that model but didn't think that the engine coolant fan had a relay, just a thermoswitch screwed into the side of the radiator, you might check for this on your model.
