Alpine d105r Help

Hi i have a alpine d105r screen, i have connected it up 2day and i have also done the handbrake part aswell however when i insert a dvd all i can hear is the music and there is no image of the film showing on the screen it simply reads DVD-R and either MENU or STILL, what can i do? any advice at all please?????

Its either a dodgy disc or your unit is foobarred mate.

The only other thing is that the handbrake wiring isnt correct- where did you connect it too?

do you rekon is does not work because i am using the cheap iso harness from ebay and not the genuine alpine one that has the handbrake wire???????

Could well be that. Genuine wiring is a must on these kinda units
