wiring problem, help needed

today i have fitted my new vc kw-avx740 head unit

bought the autoleads cable i needed:

now here is the problem....the radio is always on, cant turn it off unless i pop the display off...i feel i have bought a wrong wiring kit for it :(

HELP ME :'(

Swap the yellow and red leads over

and the radio does not turn off with the power switch on the front...radio is brand new

I love that that comment seems so patronising and simple yet it's highly likely that this is the answer xD I jus didn't wanna be the one to suggest it

i have had to have a wire routed to the ignition, so now th hu turns on and off

No there isn't. The OP has a 9N3 which uses canbus. It would either need a canbus adapter or an ignition live taken from the cigarette lighter or similar as the quadlock plug that goes into the standard RCD200 doesn't have it as standard.

Fair enough mate seems a tad dodgy I remember my mate messing about with live ignition a d a sub. As long as its all sorted :D
