Help with wiring

Sorry its been a long time since I fitted a stereo. I bought this car without any stereo so need to fit one so pulled out the wiring. Is this what you would expect to see or will I need to adapt anything to fit any modern cd player. As you can see there is a plug and three or four bare wires.

Nobody touching this one with a bargepole then
