Right, im getting really upset, annoyed and bloody frustrated!
The problem!
Id say every 8/10 weeks my polo will start struggling to idle! For example come to a set of lights and drop the clutch as im stoping and it'll cut out without struggling or anything!
Upon restarting it'll either...
- struggle to idle an cut out
-idle fine
Ive currently been curing it by wd40 into the throttle body, not loads just a little! And it seems to stop it for 8/10 weeks (may cut out once a week)
The car is overdue a service a little just waiting for payday but im hoping its just a service it needs...
Please help me!... Don't understand how embrassesing it is when it cuts out an people think ive stalled

WD40 should not be sprayed into the throttle body at any cost. It can cause irreversible damage to the throttle assembly
Conduct a full service, including spark plugs, air filter and fuel filter
Clean the throttle body properly with Wynns Intake and Carb cleaner or a similar xylene based intake cleaning spray - Ensure you clean the crankcase breather hose of any oily gunk in it with the spray also.
Perform a TBA (Throttle Body Alignment) with VCDS/Vag-com
You problems should clear up.
