Warm start problem polo 6n 1.4

Hi i have a 6n s reg 1998 1.4 8 valve apq engine when i turn the car off after driving if i try and start it while its still warm it wont start unless i rev it alot when cold its fine im thinking a temp sensor issue but wanted advice /opinions thanks lee

Likely to be the temp sensor - get it changed

Yeah thats what i thought is there two on these one for gauge and one for ecu im a peugeot tech lol vw is quite new to me

That should likely have one green or yellow temp sender to the upper right hand side of the engine block
