The K04-001 will bolt up to the stock manifold, and the K04-020 will not. You will need the manifold off a 225 TT or a custom manifold to use the
K04-020. With the K04-001, you will be able to get around 210hp/280lb-ft at the wheels, and with the K04-020 230-250hp/300lb-ft at the wheels.

obviously you need a new intercooler and exhaust system, maf, injectors, etc but it does go straight on!

here is one that jason got!

I know about the K04-001 it's an option at the moment.

How is he getting on with that turbo? Did he buy it from that exact company? He's a brave man trying a chinese copy if he did!! Although I can't say I haven't considered it myself.............

yup so hardly a straight swap and away we go..

also 4bar fpr, fuel pump, larger maf housing & obviously a remap. also maybe uprated engine mounts

also i wouldnt touch a copy with a barge pole..its totally not worth it imo

J-gti - Gotta say i'm coming round to the idea of a jbs04, after a bit of researching it looks like a fair few are reaching the 300 mark on SCN...which imo is probably the right point between reliability & power without uprating internals...
