I have the impression that the cable is not properly, If it is a cable from interior lighting, it should not be in pin1?

Insert the terminal T73b/4 correctly in the slot T73b/4, if previously there were no faults regarding the (E20 - Dimmer) they do not have to appear now.
The contact terminal has two tabs that hold it to the connector, ... with much love and care open them slightly, a minimum angle is enough. You can do this with a cutter or a fine razor.

Clear the faults with the VCDS.

... and retest with the new BCM coding.

Please, be precise about the results.
- AUTO:
Lights ON =
LIghts OFF =

This is starting to look like a real joke ... 😂

It does not mean that, now we are trying to find out if there is a problem in the electrical installation.
Let me check it out, I'll post a new BCM coding soon/tomorrow for another test.

Thank you very much for the video, very good idea!! 👌 (more clarifying)

For me it is better that you post the BCM coding as text and not as an image, it makes my job easier. Thanks.

Well, the final conclusion is that your electrical installation is not correct at some point, either original wires were used when it was advised to use "new wires" and isolate the original ones, or the wires are interconnected (drl with parking/side lights wires) due to some trick done in the past.

You must use a multimeter to make sure that the wires are not connected to each other (drl with parking).
When you are absolutely sure that the installation of the wires for the parking lights is as in the following diagrams (1 or 2), contact me again.

1
Image
Note: front and rear share the same wire.

2

These diagrams are a repetition of what has already been indicated for this installation, perhaps it is easier to understand this way.
All possible BCM codings will only work correctly if the electrical installation is correct.

3 DRL

You should also check the new installation of the 5 new wires in the area of the light switch - bcm.
It must be as indicated, it's very important.

While you make sure of all this, use this BCM coding:
7C8829F88861010001200EF06EEB9EC85FC067FF608D30C1200000030000
It is the one that most closely approximates an original and legal condition.

2.5 are ok, 3 should be taken from bcm and insulated? I will finish the work, I will visit the company service and check the correctness of the wiring from the above diagram. Throw advice on how to drag the cables from the cabin to the lamps, I will break the wiring and add 2x2 cables to the front lamps

Everything will work perfectly as indicated in the diagram I made for you (and everyone).
You make me understand that English is difficult for you because everything is perfectly explained in the diagram. I think that is the problem of everything that is happening. :|

I am going to explain it to you so that you can use the translator in case it is necessary.

Wires.

1- Remove original T17/16 wire , once remove it, splice a new wire to this removed wire, and connect this new wire to T73b/7. (the T17/16 slot is now empty)
This action will make your license plate lights work properly.

3- In the BCM black connector you have to remove the original T73a/45 wire and isolate it. Now install a new wire from T17/13 to T73a/45.

4- Install a new wire from T17/5 to T17/16.

Easy and simple.

---

I don't know how the people who retrofit the Ibiza 6J run the wires from the cabin to the engine compartment.

Do some research on it, surely you will find in a retrofit (CCS for example) how they run the wire that goes to the ECU.

The correct thing is that you find the place where the original harnesses run. Look from the engine compartment towards the cabin.

Example for the 6R: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69648&p=520795#p519846, more images  https://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?p=540413#p540413

I suppose that the cable routing is +/- identical, I have to remove the wiper motor grills and I will see everything, in your opinion, all the rest of the cables according to the diagram are correct, the problem is 2x2 lamp wires and wiring in the above diagram, point 1,3,4 or look for further problems?

Lamp connectors are the same as for bcm?
How many +/- 0.5mm cabling length do I need?

What the f**k is done here .... Cable 4,5,7 cut, bridge t17 / 5 -> t17 / 16 cut, t17 / 16 bridged to T73B / 7. cyclo tell me what the T17 / 7 cable is responsible for, how important it is, I will connect it back (currently cut and insulated),

I do not see the original T17 / 16 cable in the original bundle, because there was a t17 / 5 bridge -> t17 / 16, so what cable should I connect to the t73b / 7?
a f*****g idiot not an electrician

Edit: t17 / 4 (j828 relay) ok

I will make a T17 / 5 bridge with the T17 / 16, where do I get the cable from to connect it to the T73b / 7 if it will not be physically in the bundle?

The original cable from the T73a / 45 is removed and insulated, but there is no cable in the T73a / 45 to T17 / 13, there is a cable in the light switch T17 / 13 make a bridge for this cable or throw the cable out of the switch and insert a new one ??
