While we wait to receive the BCM I will begin to show your wiring. 100% made.
Please pay attention because this electrical installation for the BCM Max adaptation is somewhat different from those made in the 6Rs.
I think it will be very interesting due to trying to operate the Dimmer 1Z0 941 333 correctly and other things...

Basic Information

Warnings
- Insulate removed/replaced original wires with cloth tape , at least two turns of tape. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... FmY3M/view
Individually/separately, insulated contact terminals can never be together in case of isolate several wires in the same place.
- Remember that you must use good tools for crimping Butt terminals. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... dlUUk/view
- How stripping a wire to insert in the Butt terminal. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... I1MFk/view
- How to cut an original wire. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... JqWm8/view
- Before you start working with wires = Remove Battery ground.

Please tell me if you understand this basic information.

Tip: you must 'double check' the contact terminal correspondence in the connector slots before inserting, in some occasions removing the terminals can become a very difficult task without the right tools (even with them).

Use your ElsaWIN

The first thing to do is remove the steering wheel (airbag), steering column covers, stalks/ring, instrument cluster, fuse box, dashboard side cover, and BCM.

This way you will have better access for this installation.

Plate lights. Before and After.

Before (your current installation)

After

-Remove the panels that are necessary to run the wire next/parallel to the original harness.
-Cut the indicated wires near the license plate lights inside the car (trunk/boot).
For example, look for the images of the license plate lights wire installation in this installation guide  6R RHD, page 13.

Follow the instructions on the following link to complete the installation of this wiring. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... sp=sharing
Note:
For this wiring installation you do not have to touch anything on the red and black connectors. These steps were done previously.

Note:
In the previous link I did not indicate anything (in the process steps) about wiring 1 (CAN lines) because there are old BCM Max (7H0) that do not need these CAN lines.
At that time I did not know what BCM Max you were going to install.

Your new BCM Max 7E0937090C is one of the most updated and needs these CAN lines (from BCM to Instrument cluster).

Good morning.

It is possible to install these wiring in one morning if you have experience in wires, it depends on the skills of each one to remove the necessary parts and install the wiring looms.

If you have no experience with wires you should do this installation calmly. You must consider and schedule a couple of days or three in which you will not use the car. Maybe you install them in a single day, but schedule two or three days, setbacks may arise.

The installation is uncomfortable to do, but it is really easy, follow my instructions accurately, don't skip any details, and everything will work perfectly.

Tip: You have to have a mechanic's mentality to remove the parts, being careful not to damage them (study the ElsaWIN if you need), and a watchmaker's mentality to install the wires. You must do it with precision, you cannot damage the contact terminals, it would be catastrophic.
If you are wrong when installing the terminals the car will not work.

Have a nice day too!

Cc installation, washing lights system, 8ops PDC, rns315, antidazzle mirror, ☔ sensor, all those retrofits have been installed by me.
Is this experience enough to make those installations in one day?
