Hi,
My regular garage suggested replacing Both Lower Front Arm Bushes on my Polo GTI 2006. I hear fitting the cupra rear bushings in combination with powerflex front bushings is a good decision. Thinking of replacing the whole arm and ball joint for reduced labor cost in the future.
I am going to order these parts after someone could nicely confirm the following parts will fit and are what I need
2X REAR BUSHINGS - https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/ ... forms.html
2X CONSOLE BUSHING - https://www.powerflex.co.uk/product-det ... 13016.html
2X CONTROL ARM - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/triscan/7228988
Whilst I am confident I have the correct part for rear bushings, I am struggling to identify the front bushing part.
Are "front bushings" and "console bushings" interchangeable terms? I.E Could either part fit as a front bushing?

As far as I'm aware the rear bush sits in the rear axle, and the console bush is in the arm itself?
Also, on 9n3 polos, does wishbone = lower arm? What is the difference between - Are they for different chassis?

Sorry for the long post, I hope this makes sense!

Re: POLO GTI 2006 Lower Arm Bushings
I have never had a 9N3 Polo so I don't know when VW changed from having that horrible console bush set up to the later Golf etc vertical bush - look under your car and check which version of lower arm rear mounting design it has - the consoles are large aluminium lumps, no aluminium around there when the later "Golf" type vertical bush is used.
Also why bother with the small front bush as it seems they last for ever plus buying new aftermarket lower arms could prove problematic if you end up buying the non GTI versions I'd think.
Now, if you have the later type of lower arms, and you can buy the proper GTI versions, then I'd think, that you would still need to replace the lower arm rear mounting bushes - but you probably know that already.

You say you were recommended to replace the front lower arm bushes, buy this I expect they meant’ console ’ bushes.
You have listed rear axle bushes in your post? Why ?
This is typically what I would expect to find under a 9n3 polo at the front
