Hey y'all!
I've got an '05 9N3, and I found some nice wheels that I like with tyres already on them, for a bit of a bargain. Problem is, I don't know if they'll fit. The tyres are 225x40x18, my Polo has stock suspension so isn't lowered. Would I have decent clearance with these on? Or would I just ruin them? Would 225mm width even fit the Polo??
Cheers lads

Re: New Tyres
Not the best plan, I think that you are increasing the circumference of the wheels by over 14%, which will do a few things including provide you with sluggish performance.
What are your current wheels, that needs to include, diameter+ width + offset + centre bore + bolt pattern for the wheels, same for the wheels that you are looking at buying, then all the stats on current and newer tyres.
Get all that info in your head, and if the centre bore and bolt pattern are okay, then Google "will these wheels fit" to find wheel sizes comparison websites.
