Interior Lights / Bulbs

Post by Joe-A »

Does anyone know all the different bulbs I'd need to buy in LED form to replace all my interior lights with some nicer, white LED ones. I want to try and do it relatively cheap rather than spending £5/bulb so if anyone has any good websites to buy from as well that'd be great!

Thanks!

Just done this on my polo and used the Philips LED bulbs which look great but are quite pricy. The only issue being they have a dim glow when the lights are set to come on when a door opens.

The bulbs are:
Vanity mirror lights: 39mm festoon
Front dome light: 39mm festoon
Front map lights: W5W
Rear dome lights: 39mm festoon
Boot light: W5W

In total, you'll need 5 39mm festoons (I used 38mm festoons as they seem to be a lot more common and still fit) and 3 W5W bulbs. I would also highly recommend a plastic trim tool kit as it made the job much easier and didn't break anything.
