Evening all,
Can anyone please assist in giving some buying advice for a Polo mk3 1.0?
I haven't yet got a driving license but when I get one and start learning, the 1.0 polo's are the only decent cars I can find that will fit my budget.
I have a general idea of what to look out for when buying second hand cars, but could anyone give me any advice on the 1.0 mk3 polo specifically, what to look out for, reasons to walk away from a sale etc.
Also, I have a budget of £400 to buy the vehicle so if anyone is selling a mk3 polo and wants to sell I am open to enquiry.

You could probably pick up a Mk4 for around £400 these days to be fair

If going for a Mk3 you ideally want a later K/J reg one with either an SPI or an MPI block. the 1.3 AAC is a good engine, and insurance is hardly much more than a 1.0 plus its got a bit more puff
