My Candy White '12 Polo Match 1.4
Well here is the story.
I have an agreement with my VW dealer on a specific car, namely a brand new Candy White 1.4 Polo Match. The only options i asked for where the 16" Knight alloy wheels and the leather multi function steering wheel with multifunction computer (not quite sure what that is) and leather gear nob and leather handbrake.
I also wanted the full vw body-kit and vw spoiler, however as i didnt want to wait for the car to be factory built because i sold my current car in anticipation of getting my new one on my birthday (12th of March for anyone interested ) I opted to source the bodykit and spoiler after i had the car, thus avoiding the stupid amounts of money VW wanted to charge me for fitting.
The problem is my dealer has contacted me telling me he cannot get the the car I want, (with the added leather extras)
Instead he has told me he can get a 1.4 Match with the Sensor Pack instead. (I still get the wheels I want)
Now what do I do ? Do I say yes and live without the leather goodies
OR
Say no and be without a car for 2 months while my new one gets built - this is not really an option.
I am aware that if the dealer gives me this car ( the one with the sensor pack) for the same price we agreed on for the other car, I would be quids in as the Sensor Pack costs £300 where as the Leather Steering wheel costs only costs £180
and if I he says he wants more of my money can I tell him to f*@k off or haggle a better price.
I know could source my own leather goodies but im worried that it might be a difficult install. especially the steering wheel and that if it voids the warranty or the terms of my PCP agreement.
Sorry for the long rant, but I really need some good advise guys. Please help.

Re: My Polo Dilemma - Advise needed !
Plenty of VW dealers out there. Shop around for a pre-reg or ex demo.

I wouldn't wait 2 months for leather...
Multifunction computer - shows MPG, when to change gear & miles left in the tank.
Without it, you see KMH, outside temperature.
Sensors... Less bumps at the rear
IMO, just get it, I dont think you'll be too dissapointed when sitting in your 12 plate polo

Re: My Polo Dilemma - Advise needed !
so on a standard car the on-board trip computer wont even tell me how many miles ive got left in the tank ? that's pretty crappy ! i had a 04 plate Clio that could do that !
gonna ring the dealer up tomo and have a word with him. looks like ill be going for the one with parking sensors. ive read a few posts on here and it doesn't seem too difficult to fit a different steering wheel. as for the gear-nob and gear gaiter i could do that myself.
thanks for your advise so far

Well i rang up my dealer today and have gone for the Polo with the comfort pack instead. So no leather goodies for me, which means im on the look out for a leather steering wheel and leather gear nob and gaiter.
