Just go to your local VW dealer and give them you VIN number or license plate and they will happily sell you a new one.
Yeah I gave TPS (Trade Parts Specialists) a call instead and they have the part. Thanks for your response!

Whats really difference between airbag on Polo 6R basic steering wheel, and polo 6R MF airbag. They look by size and shape the same, is just the wire harness on back of the airbag different, presuming that MF oves has more wires/ pins occupied in airbag connector.

Look at the springs holding the airbag in the steering wheel

You are right, and it seems it cant be done since no one makes the parts, probably safer also.

Does anyone know can you just buy a Bush for this part number:
6Q0 199 851 AP /// dog bone mount
I cant seem to find more regarding this.

I would like to control MFD so I can view MPG etc.
I have a Polo Moda without steering buttons or trip computer on wiper stalk.

I believe I have two options:
1) Get new steering wheel with buttons
2) Get wiper stalk with trip computer buttons

Both will needs VCDS to enable/code.

I have decided on wiper stalk as it seems the cheapest option and easier than changing steering wheel and wiring it up.

How easy is it to change wiper stalk and wire it? Is it a complicated job?

Considering buying stalk and finding someone local to enable functionality using VCDS.
Just want to check things before purchasing.

It is easy. You can also make it with a simple button.

I saw your thread back last year.
Just found it again but the link you provided no longer has it on sale.

Do you know any where else I can get a button? Did a quick search on Aliexpress but can’t find any other sellers.

any kind of a push button will work ( button, not a switch!) and you will need a 1 pin for instrument cluster per switch. You can get these from a breaker yard or order new.

Didn’t want to create a new thread so thought I’d ask here.

This is probably a very dumb question but I’ve not owned a car prior to this lol

I have a Moda 60, but my car does not have an “AC” button and it only has a recirculation button.
It has temperate controls for blower and blower speed etc.
Does this mean my car does not have AC?

I’ve always wondered does this mean my car does not have AC? As I see a lot of polos have this button so wondering why mine doesn’t...

Damn summer should be fun then...

Only wanted to know as I see people say use AC when cars condensed/steamed up on cold mornings.

You need specific door modules suited for folding mirrors and your configuration like LHD, 5 doors
