MFSW buttons.

Post by chrispy. »

Are these plug & play? Or will it need coding in.
If so, does anyone have a link to show me how to.

I'm afraid you'll have to install a new steering wheel as GTI, R-line, BlueGT, Scirocco, etc ...

Won't he just need a control unit for the wheel? You can buy those separate.

You need a new steering wheel like that of GTI, BlueGT, Scirocco, etc ... for your steering wheel, are not manufactured controls right side.
The controls on the right side are for the MFA + like that of GTI, BlueGT, also for your medium mfa but with limited functions. (= right stalk).

Your DIS can operate with right side controls of steering wheel GTI.

Thanks Ciclo,

One more Question, the display in my picture(the one with the fuel gauge on the bottom) is that the medium mfa or what is that called? I can scroll through some settings using the stalk.

Hi Ciclo and rest of people on this post.

I Like a challenge and to investigate. I agree with you that the buttons in the beginning of the post would not fit due to

1) position of screw
2) sharp corner
3) inner round slope

But look at this part:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VW-GOLF-6-GTI-1 ... 3f35058690

it has correct position of screw, sharp corner and inner round slope. Also it is the same part number as polo gti buttons 5K0998537B

Why would this not fit?
