I'm sorry to hear that.

I just want to clarify that CNK6R has the same wheels, now I have these wheels. I think my joke was a bit too far fetched.

Take good care of your precious 6R, it's one of the best out there.

Sure iichel, logically I love my 6R, you know that I don't even need it and I haven't been able to sell it due to the passion I feel for it.
I'm not concerned at all about the scratches on the hood, I have a painter friend who I think is the best painter in the world. :) Methodical and scrupulous.

I thought of the irony of the wheels, the CNK's BLUE 6R looks divine with them.

hehe... well, just now I was going back to see some recordings that I have had for a long time and you can perfectly see this big rat scratching the car of another neighbor.
You can even see that it lacks the strength to scratch cars ...

It will have to be solved in a pacific way before someone retaliates forcefully or brutally against this 70 age "human being".

It's always sad when people molest other people's stuff, especially a valued car.

New 'mod' on my Polo 6R: disabled start/stop system
Simply done with VCDS long code helper

Thanks iichel.
Have you tested it?
I tried to do as you explain a couple of years ago. But the next time I turned the engine on after the coding, it was "back to normal" again :-(
I was later told that it can't be done by coding in the 6R - only 6C due to the "stand alone" GateWay in that model.

The original wind deflectors fit the Polo 6R very well, go unnoticed and fulfill their function.
It is true that at high speeds a little more air noise is generated, but they are still worth it.

On those rainy days, the windows can be slightly opened to clearly hear outside sounds (traffic information, birds, etc.) and logically allows natural ventilation of the indoor air/humidity. It's great!👍 8)

Hi Peter, a hug!

It is highly likely that for iichel it is permanent due to BCM's model and software, iichel's 7E0 vs yours 7H0 (?).

... as you already know your BlueGT 6R does not have an external GW either.

Thank you ciclo and Amer for your comments. The mirror caps are in fact the original VW Carbon look ones. They consist of a layer of fake carbon on top of the normal plastic. They look nice on a black Polo but the carbon is not very carbon...

Hi Peter!!! Thank you for the email you have sent me, I will send you an email as soon as possible. However my most sincere congratulations for all those extraordinary and fast-paced personal events that have occurred in your lives during all this past time. I'm deeply happy that everything is on the right track for your whole family. Great! 👌 8)

Well, about the Start/Stop: (we are going to develop the idea)
It is true that it is in the ECU where the Start/Stop system can be disabled,
Image
but, the GW must manage the rest of the units involved.

When we talk about the PQ25 BCM Max we also talk about its internal GW, which began to evolve in 2015 with the 7E0 BCM that began to be installed on the PQ25 platform for all VW vehicles with Start/Stop systems.

Let's go to see the BCM coding of iichel and your BCM coding that I have for a long time:

- The Byte that interests us is Byte 20 and also the GW parameterization.
(the parameterization of the GW is something that I cannot show but it is different -7H0 vs 7E0 -)

60 HEX for Byte20 would be the new coding if you installed the 7E0 BCM on your BlueGT, it's a standard coding for the PQ25 platform in Byte 20 with 7E0 BCM installed.

I know that for someone as tall as you it is very difficult to exchange the BCM in the 6R, but if you do it, we would know if the new ECU coding would not be rejected by disabling Byte6 Bit0 with the 7E0 BCM/GW installed in your BlueGT.
