Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Look in the logs folder VCDS program, If you have made other autoscan...
The ABS coding is related to VIN number, so perhaps the only valid encoding is the original. (I do not know for sure)
How you lost this coding?

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Hi Ciclo,
When I bought the car in Feb 2015, it was already like that. The previous owner did something to it. I was hoping someone code could work out the coding or paste theirs with the same spec as mine.
I have the tire pressure sensor installed as well.

210224E3416E00B7842624E782D400521300 (according to your VIN), but Byte15 (52 Hex) is for LHD.

Maybe Byte15 is 92 according to http://vwclub.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php ... 9#p1694595
Try with 210224E3416E00B7842624E782D400921300

Hi iichel,
Is that coding for LHD or for RHD?
And do you have the TPMS installed?
Thanks

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
You probably have to do the basic setting of the sensors indicated in autoscan.
We wait the results. (I hope that lady luck be your ally )
Perhaps the next link will also help you http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread. ... ule-please (Byte16 must be 13Hex)

Hi Ciclo,
My brother took the car to London today. He will be back within a few hours and then I will try it. I hope it works. How do I do settings of the sensors?
Thanks

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I think this is the best procedure http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... ic_Setting
But keep in mind the group 63 according to this http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread. ... #post11788
When you try to do it, everything will be clearer for you. (or not )

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Thanks Ciclo,
I understand most of it. I have not tried the coding yet. I'm probably gonna have to do it tomorrow as it's 8pm here and my brother will be back late. I will notify you when i've done it. But thanks for these links. They are VERY useful.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
The coding is based on your VIN number, so is very likely to work.
You have to do as many attempts as necessary to do the basic settings, sometimes it takes some time to it react. Be patient with that.
Start over each indicated process when you do not get the results.
- Exit from ABS unit, enter again, writes the security access (again), basic settings etc...
When everything is OK:
Inflate the tires to the correct pressure and check the tire pressure monitoring. (user manual)
Good luck for tomorrow!
