Thank you ciclo.

Lucky me I did not moved out of London yet :)

I was so excited when you come back with a possible solution.
My new steering wheel arrived and the emulator on the way too, but until the BCM sorted I can feel my wheel on my living room only :(
I was also hoping I do not have to purchase another software to sort out this issue.

The first two SA code was accepted.

The last one brought up a massage
Controller refused the key error 35: Invalid Key massage

Therefore Channel number 1 is not available even with the two SAs accepted ... :?:

An idea:
- Perhaps and due to the fact that the two sliding doors need confirmation of blocking via CAN, it is necessary to take into account some position of all the doors, ...for example, that they are all closed so that channel number 1 is available and thus be able to marry the remote controls.
It is just an idea, try what you consider most convenient regarding the state in which the doors should be.

I checked the BCM coding, but I don't find anything strange in the first 7 Bytes and Byte26 (some channels change the value when some Bytes are modified).

When you have the ODIS-E or the VCP (Vag Can Pro) available please let me know.

Ok i need to buy VCP then.

Would a basic model be enough or I would need K-line availability?

Would an older model or even a clone one do the job or should i stick to the genuine one?

To get started with these tools as a newbie:
- If you are thinking of buying something cloned it is better (infinitely better) that you buy the VAS5054A (not another model), for example from Aliexpress (it is not necessary that the dongle has the OKI chip). You will need a laptop with Windows7 and install the ODIS-E correctly (there are guides for its installation). You can also install the ODIS-S.

- For the VCP it is better to buy the original.
K-line availability is not necessary for your Transporter.

Ok I thing i will not jump in something I am not aware of again :)

I am a OSX guy anyway. I find some guys offering key adaptation with ODIS. I will give it a try.

Should i tell tell them some instructions or they must know what to do?

Is it a rare issue what is not easy to resolve or it just become difficult because of i lack of the correct software?

It is very unlikely that someone knows how to enable channel 1 of your BCM 7E0, for me it is a new issue to solve.
Have you asked in the Transporter forum? https://www.t6forum.com/ ... very nice people in this forum. 8)

Flashing your BCM with ODIS-E has no mystery if whoever does it has done it before.

There is another very interesting option (the best option), ... that you buy a new virgin BCM 7E0 937 090 D in the right place.
Contact firegrafik if you consider this option, you can fully trust him.
Many people who are or were in this forum have done it and they are all very satisfied, me included.
You'll like it.

Just out of curiosity, is channel 1 available on your BCM 087?

Yes Chanel 1 available on the old BCM

If I would know that someone here able to supply the BCM I would happily support the forum member with my purchase, but I am not on a position to put the one I already have aside and spend money again a new one.

I would love to make it work what I have already, but honestly i fully rely on you :) my knowledge is limited

i going to post up on the T6 forum let see what the guys think and keep firegrafik as the last option.

Just an update regrading my BCM issue.

It look like there is something wrong with the latest BCMs or just with my one. Missing key adaptation channel cannot be fixed.

I purchased a 7E0937090C and it works fine.

I would like to shout out a big thank you to Ciclo for the effort he put in to help me to sort this out. Now I can start the CCS on MFSW project :)

👍
Well, just to inform to the forum although the information is not clear.

There are some BCMs (PQ25) that seem to be intended for 'commercial use' (I don't know what this means) and we don't know how to make channel 1 available.
It happened on another occasion in another place on the planet once I made the pertinent consultations to an expert who walks through these worlds ...

The only and best solution we determine is to get a new BCM Max in the right place for around 100 euros. Solved! 8)

Hi Ciclo.

Ok I know I mentioned before I got no fault codes It was because I thought it is a bulb issue, but it is not.

So after the correct BCM install and the wiring done it seems I have three faults although, license plate lights still working and low beam working too, but I lost the cornering function of the fog lights.

I must mention that high/low beam and fog bulbs upgraded to led bulbs and license plate bulbs are factory ones.

Can it be related to a new BCM or should I look other possibilities?

Hi, it is related to BCM coding and the use of LED bulbs in sensitive places.

Please post a new and recent autoscan with the current situation, I will check everything that is possible to modify in the BCM coding to try to avoid those 3 faults and recovering the SCLs. Thanks.
