Try this new BCM coding (headlights and f fog with LED bulbs).

- Clear all DTC's and visually check the lights for operation.
- Please report the results. (no need to post a new autoscan, only the permanent faults)

The static cornering lights do not work because you have to do the basic setting of G85 sensor in the ABS unit (03). Please find out how to do the G85 basic setting for your T5 on the ross-tech website (wiki) in case you have never done it before.

Have you manufactured and installed the wiring for automatic lights or just the adaptation wiring for the new BCM?
The answer seems obvious, but please confirm it.

I got the wires for auto headlights but did not installed them.

The issue with lights come up well before the sensor calibration.

Yesterday i changed my stalk for a T6 one without CCS and MFD control and the calibration issue come up after that.

I am on Rosstech forum regarding that because it seems the recommended procedure not working.
Under channel03 security code accepted but on basic settings 060 calibration not available
Although probably it was my mistake because i tried the calibration without turning the steering wheel. Since i found out it is an important step. So i will make another attempt tomorrow .

If it worked for John it should work for you.

Advice:
The prerequisites are very important, as well as positioning the steering wheel between the tolerated angles.
Do the basic setting as indicated, and regardless of the result, close the basic setting, close address 03, and verify that the warning lights on the Instrument Cluster have turned off.
Take a little ride with the van, and when you park, turn the steering wheel completely to both sides.
Check again that everything is OK.

Try it as many times as necessary.
In each attempt you must exit/close completely from address 03 and re-enter for the next attempt (it is not necessary to close the VCDS program).

Regarding SCLs:
- Without G85 basic setting the SCLs do not work.
- It is likely that they did not work previously due to the type of LED lamp you are using.
We will see how to solve these problems as we progress with the tasks.

Ok G85 Sensor calibrated and it works well, I copied the coding but unfortunately did not changed anything. I still have the same faults.

Led lights was there well before the BCM upgrade and I did not have any fault back they supposed to be error free. Should i replace them for the originals?

I assume there is still part of the BCM adaptation wiring installation that needs to be done (at the same time you install the wiring for automatic lights that you got).
Until everything is done completely there is no point in introducing new BCM codings to avoid those faults.

Yes SCLs still not working and fault still there with the yellow numberplate bulbs.

I thought the wire mod only needed if I want auto lights that is why I did not installed them.

So I will finish the wiring mod and just in case replace all the LED bulbs to the factory ones just to start clean and see what happens.

Just to confirm. I need to fallow step three only "modify the original electrical installation - Fusebox, BCM, Light Switch" Am I right?
I done step one here wiring from ebox to BCM, but have not done the rest.

It will take some time for me to do that because this pre Christmas period is very busy and sometimes the 24 hours dat not enough to everything I planned

Yes, you have to finish what is missing from the part of the wiring adaptation: viewtopic.php?p=528735#p528735

It can be done on the large T17 connector, but automatic lights ('OEM way') would not be possible due to the light switch. In your case it does not make sense because you already have the RLS installed.
For you it is absolutely better to adapt the wiring for the small T10 connector for AUTO light switch, ...that is, follow the link above as described.

I totally agree with you, we are going to have to take a spaceship and travel to another planet with rotations of at least 36 to 48 hours per day ... the Christmas period was always the most complex in terms of available time.

There are four types of terminals used on BCM connectors:
- MCP (multiple contact point), the three most used sizes + the MQS (micro qualock system).

From largest to smallest:
- MCP 6.3 / 4.8 - Multiple Contact Point - 5.8mm
- MCP 2.8 - Multiple Contact Point - 2.8mm
- MCP 1.5 - Multiple Contact Point - 1,5mm
- MQS - Micro Quadlok System - 0.63mm

It is very easy to select the ones you need if you look at this image:



As for a crimping tool that achieves good results, I recommend ... viewtopic.php?p=537392#p537392
Very professional crimps can be made with this tool PA-21 , the cost of which is very reasonable.

There are high-cost crimpers with which the crimps are perfect, but they are 'very expensive'.



Note:
In all manual terminal crimping there must be a certain personal art that is learned over time.

Be precise when crimping the terminals, it is the key for a good job. If necessary use a magnifying glass and good light to accurately visualize the bite of the crimping tool on the tabs/legs that hold the wire to contact terminal.

MCP 1.5 contact terminals are somewhat delicate, keep in mind to keep them at a perfect 90º angle with respect to the crimping tool, avoiding any other angle at all times during crimping.

I did catch it over the holiday, but luckily managed to finish the wiring.

I worked without a fault for a week than that little yellow light appeared again now with more bulb faults.

I also would like to ask something regarding my stalks. I replaced my original non sprung T5.1 stalk to a T6 sprung-type one without trip and cruise control buttons and the switching the headlights from low beam to high beam is not working. It flashing but not stay on high beam. I have to constantly pull or push it to use high beam.

It was mentioned on T6 forum that maybe there is an issue with coding and have to change BCM adaptation channel 054 from 0 to 1. When I tried it was set to 1 but on the values boxes all for showed N/A.
Have you come across something like this?
I bought the stalks second hand so maybe the switch broken. I just want to make sure the adaptation or coding is ok before I buy another one.
