hey ciclo,

so after searching for hours found this seller on aliexpress who is ready to ship direct tpms instead of aliexpress being banned in India.

https://aliexpress.ru/i/4000273199694.html
this is the product which he has and is ready to ship, its costing me around 25000INR

Will this product work with my car?

Can you help me with any other leads regarding this?

Have left a message for patil, he is gonna contact me soon i guess busy with some work

Regards

Hi Aditya,

I have sent you the link of the person to contact regarding direct tpms kit. I personally know the seller and he sells genuine new products, bit on expensive side but ensures you peace of mind. Talk to seller about your requirements and he should help you. Even he can parametrise the module.

In any case if you end up needing parametrisation, contact anyone locally having Odis or VCP.

If you don't find anyone, as a last option, I can do it for you if you send me the tpms module, only in my free time.

Good luckπŸ‘

Thank you for the hug dear master, it helps. :)
The situation in my country is precarious, the burden on the health sector is overwhelming. The society as a whole has failed miserably, the irresponsible behaviour of citizens and authorities led to utter chaos beyond comprehension.

Humanity is the biggest threat to humanity. :|

The statistical data of covid cases and deaths that is flowing in from hospitals across the country is very disturbing, and worst is yet to come.
The situation will improve eventually, but after paying a hefty price. :(

Hello everyone

Hi ciclo, hope you are doing fine

Btw used your guide and installed tpms and heated ovrms. Now my car is 2 years old and 32000kms. Recently had to change the steering rack and water pump (manufacturing defects) thankfully it was covered under warranty. Don’t get why such inferior quality parts in India.

Anyways here are the pics of the tpms and I know still have to parameterize the unit. Must say DIY are fun to do

Hi adityagttsi. Looks great! Enjoy it!
I could no longer live without the TPMS, the tire pressure is the first thing I check in the MFD after traveling about 100 meters, it gives me peace of mind πŸ˜„ to face any trip without worries.
Once the tires have warmed up, I again observe the increase of pressures. It's great to have this data!
- For me it would be great if the tire temperature was also displayed, since it is also monitored.

Heated outside mirrors are very useful.
I don't have it in automatic mode because I like to observe condensation phenomena, it also alerts me about the changes in temperature outside.
Image
I would have it in Automatic mode if I lived in more humid or colder climates.

A hug. πŸ™

Hi Ciclo, hope you are doing great.

Thanks for the automatic function for heated mirrors. After trying it I have disabled it as its not useful for climate conditions in India as I use the heated mirrors in rains only.

Latest Update.

I was hell bent on getting the auto folding mirror function on my POLO. But then there were only two options, the first one being the Oem option (Replacing the wrms which are very expensive) and the other option was to get an aftermarket kit which I wasn't keen on doing it.

Luckily I found that T6 which have BCM - 090D get auto folding mirror functions. The way it works is that mirrors fold on long press of lock button and unfold on ignition. And this function is supported by Channel 84 in Central Electronics. Also the channel is available on 089D BCM only.

And to my surprise it did work on my car. Mirrors fold on long press of Lock Button on keyfob. (This has a success rate of 100 Percent). Mirrors also unfold on ignition (But then this doesn't seem to work always, as in sometimes it will and sometimes it wont)

Can the experts of this forum help me with unfolding function, do i need to adjust some code or adaptations.

Thanks.

Hi Aditya, how do you do?
I am regularly normal, I am not in my best moments. :|

Draw your own conclusions.

- Channel comparison between BCM MAX models C, D and E from channel 75. (84,85)
Image

My 6R currently has the E.
My folding mirrors worked with all of them the same way you describe, 100% folded and unfolded. I did not change the values of the BCM adaptation channels for the folding mirrors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AryMyadL8bg
With the information you provide it seems that the way of making folding mirrors work has changed. I'll do some testing with channels 84, 85 as soon as possible, although I don't expect any different results on my folding mirrors.

On the other hand, there is the coding of the WRMs, but it is a mystery if the following coding table is applicable to all the WRMs models that exist (HW/SW) from 2010 to 2019 in the PQ25 family.
Image
... as you can see in the table, Byte3 Bit0 and Bit1 are dedicated to the mirror folding function... maybe it is necessary to also activate Bit5 for PQ25.
As you already know, once the coding is done, it is necessary to reconfigure the window comfort function again so that the changes in the WRMs coding take effect.

Please keep us informed of your tests. Thank you.

I tested channel 84 on my BCM 'E' from 0 to 1, it has effects on the folding mirrors function, but in my case (with WRMs with SW for folding mirrors) the mirrors do not unfold when turning the ignition switch.
I recode the channel from 1 to 0 and the folding mirrors work fine again, both remote fold and auto unfold when I turn the ignition switch. 100%.

I also tried channel 85, it has no effect on folding mirrors.

Hi,

So i today did the installation of 6C GTI Lights, along with T10 to T14 harness. Connected the necessary wires to BCM.

Tried to do the coding, but there is a problem the Parking Lights are working in the DRL(When headlight switch is off)

Second problem proper parking lights are not working when you turn the headlights on or when you keep the headlight switch in parking light position

Here is the auto scan, if you guys could help me that would be great.

Thanks in advance

Thank you ciclo. Means a lot.

From what i could read on this forum about led headlights. I have come to know this that you need BCM 8IT for Led headlights or you need to parameterize it.

If you don’t then the Parking Lights wont work with Headlights and Parking Lights.

Also if my BCM does not support LED Lights then can i parameterize using ODIS?

First I checked your new BCM coding comparing it to 6R IND with LED headlights from the factory.

I have modified some Bytes...
Please try this new BCM coding and report the results. Thanks!

Faults may arise, but we need to know this. Don't worry if this happens, they will be corrected.

From what you say about the current operation of your new '6C/6R' LED headlights, it is highly likely that you need to parameterize your BCM (PWM value for position/parking/side lights), which can be parameterized with VCP and ODIS.
It is explained in the firegrafik thread on Drive2.ru https://www.drive2.ru/l/489696641561919499/ PWM Value with POS/TFL lights and activited Pos-lights...new value = 28
