1.2 TDI EGR problems

Post by Vard593 »

Had an error code p2563, tool to the garage they replaced the egr system, car was then boosting properly no problems, to then after about 6 months the same error code and performance issues...
Any help? Could it be a vaccuum problem or a sensor?

My engine code is CFWA if thats any help

If they replaced the EGR for a P2563, then I'd have a good conversation why they did it. It's clearly a turbocharger system fault (not just the TC, but the vacuum system or piping).
So check VGT, vacuum, wiring, N75, sensor on the turbo.

To be fair it sorted the problem for a while must have been a gunked up egr, but also something else, code hasnt reappeared, since changing n75 valve but engine feels sluggish, get some boost at 2000rpm but not as before.
