Vw Polo 6C Gti DSG jerking during acceleration on low rpm

Post by keegangovender04 »

Hi everyone

I'm new to the forum but I was hoping that one of you might be able to assist me.
I recently bought a 2016 VW polo gti dsg, it's been a dream for the first few months but lately I've been having issues where during acceleration, there's a hard jerk that's encountered. Either in manual mode, sport mode or drive mode. It happens in any gear, but when the engine Rev is low. It happens when the Rev is between 1600rpm to 2500rpm.

I took it to my local vw dealership but at the time, it didn't give an issue so an update to the dsg box was done and an adaptation was done as well.

What I noticed was if the car has been parked for a few days, the jerking is present but if driven all the time, the jerking is limited.

The next thing the deals hip wants to do is to replace the mechatronic unit, but I don't think it will solve the issue because there is no jerk between gears, but while in a gear, and that there is no warning lights on the dash.

I assume it has to do with the turbo charger, what do you'll think?
