Lowering Springs GTI 6C

Post by sd17 »

Modification newbie here... looking to subtly lower my 2016 GTI 6C, nothing too extreme just want it to sit better (as it should be stock IMO).

Any advice on which to go for, where to buy them etc welcome. From what I can see H&R and Eibach seem to be the most popular options. I'm leaning towards Eibach.

Are these the right Eibach ones? - https://www.diversionautomotive.com/pro ... eq=uniform

Do I need to get the headlights adjusted as well as wheel balance when they're fitted?

Cheers

i have the eibach springs fitted to my 6c gti and i'd highly recommend them as a subtle drop with adverse affect on the ride.

£200 is overpriced for them

https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/eibach- ... 024-02-22/ is a much more reasonable price.

the headlights auto adjust with the sensor on the rear beam

Cheers for that. Do you have a photo of how yours sits with the Eibach springs?

Are these the right ones for the 6C? The rear axle weight says up to 840kg.

Looking good, perfect daily driving stance! I've just got my Eibach springs delivered this week, can't wait to get them on. What changes have you felt when driving on them, is the ride a bit stiffer?
