MORE????

Amazing project!!!!

Everytime i see this project, i think you do things that not even the VW engineers imagine that's possible
They are just two security related modifications, ... one is the original alarm system, and the other is something that I will never tell anyone.
The best security systems are the unknown ones. 😊

safm, almost all the retrofits that I have done on my wife's Golf have already been done by many others in many places on the planet.
I understand how important it is to do so many retrofits, but I guarantee you that VW engineers live almost in the 22nd century and we still live in the early 21st century.

Waiting for some connectors and making a full harness that contains all the wires to add another unit :) together with the new horn (H12).

Looking on eBay for the interior sensors I found this set for around 40€ in 'really good condition'. It's like new! (I feel very lucky).

Golf 7.5 Soundaktor. Engine sound generator. (Experiment 😁)

As this device is right next to the alarm horn we are going to install it and give it a try with a custom FW on my wife's Golf 1.0 TSI DKRF 6MT. Ready2go 3-Cylinders.

On YouTube you can see that some owners of the Golf GTI, GTD, R deactivate it because it is a FAKE sound (or other reasons), either through the diagnostic tools (recommended - volume 0% -), or by setting -ECO- (engine sound) in Individual Mode for driving profiles (FPA), ... or by removing the connectors.

Slavik showed me a video of his 1.5 TSI EVO with it installed and IMHO sounds divine in Sport MODE. 👌
In my wife's golf it may sound horrible, but we will give it a try and see what happens ...

This soundaktor is the one that was available on eBay, remember that the unit will be flashed with a custom FW, so the reference numbers should not be taken into account.

The same RLHS as the factory one, although a new 'C' version is already available.

do you need to flash the engine ECU as well for the sound actuator? or does it not matter?
i had a sound actuator from polo 6R GTI in my 1.2 TDI as well but it doesn't really seem to be alive in any way

Maybe you should talk to Slavik to try to find a solution for you.

Image
Note: I guess one day I will have to install an Akrapovic system.🤭

So, I guess there is nothing to touch on the ECU, the custom FW for the control unit will only have to fool the GW as to which units are installed.

I already tested Soundactor in Citigo and ofcourse ECU not supported ... So it will be great if can be flashed with custom FW to work on ours 1.0 :)

Well, you know that from time to time someone comes along who finds a way to make something work that seemed impossible for it to work.
Logically the MQB and PQ25 platforms are different and it is possible that someone knows a lot for MQB, but "nothing" for the PQ25.
Until it is tested, we will not be able to know the result ... I am delighted to do the tests, I do not care about the final result.

As for the RLHS, B version (image) supports the 'rain closing' function, it is the version installed in my wife's Golf from the factory, and I have the 'rain closing' function enabled.
I don't know anything about the C version but it should also support the rain closing function.

Little by little it is clearly seen in this thread that I am making some preparations before changing the windshield, which is my last concern right now, ...but it is the most important thing. Trying to find experts to change the windshield to be perfectly aligned when installed and not a simple 'cut and paste'. I will try to be present the moment the windshield is put/glued in place.

Golf 7.5 Operational remote control with ignition switch ON! (+15)

I have activated this function in my wife's Golf because it also has the automatic opening and closing function activated.
It will give me some Comfort when I want to open the doors for someone to get in the vehicle, that is, I will not have to direct my arm towards the door to press the door open switch.

Warning: This modification requires a lot of effort, please think before doing it.

ENG141651-ENG115754-ZV allgemein-Funk bei Klemme 15 ein, not active, 7 ... active

1- It works with all remote controls paired to the car. It doesn't matter if the remote control is on the ignition switch or you use one of other remote controls.

2- Only the opening and closing keys of the remote control work.

3- In my case, it does not work for the boot lid opening key, the signal is sent (visible in the indicators) but the opening latch is not released.
This is perfect in my opinion, because you can mistakenly press that key and then you have to move your ass off the seat to close the boot lid.😄

4- It does not work if the vehicle is in motion.

Just doing some checking while I am waiting for some requested parts:

58d

Green Led

Red Led

Automatic call or press the red button, a friendly voice will tell you:
1- All our operators are busy because of the pandemic situation and because many other drivers with absurd reasons pressed the button before than you ... , please wait patiently ...
Whether you die or not, we will know that you were involved in an accident and you will be guilty of all the traffic safety violations that occurred in your accident.

2- Due to the binding conditions accepted by you (which you did not read) and which exempt us from any responsibility, pressing the red button means that this vehicle will self-destruct in 5 seconds.
5 ... 4 ... 3 ...

Discarded.
