Golf 7.5 LHD = RHT. 8IU LED headlights were received.

The first thing that strikes me (I was expecting it) is the number of pins in the connector, 6 pins, I will have to go over some concepts about erWin diagrams and pin assignment.
Nothing to modify in the already manufactured wiring because it is related to the +15 power supply and the ground (duplicates), only what is related to the HB signal and its final assignment to the BCM :arrow: (* for models with automatic headlight control or *2 According to equipment ... wth :lol: ).

I assume the assignment for HB signal will be the same it has currently has for halogen headlights.

Halogen headlight diagrams.

On other hand I would appreciate if someone could tell me the number of wires that reach your 8IX LED headlights. (6?) (7 for USA market)
Also in case of 8IT LED headlights.
TIA :wink:

All this it's just to solve the erWin diagram puzzle. :mrgreen:

How many times do I have to tell you not to put a soldering iron inside the car?

😁

Fernando, you will love that “cornering lights” 😎
Its possible to codify FCM to light them up while you passing any crossroad.
FCM will use geo-data from your navigation unit - 5F.

This function called - Predictive AFS

Excellent!
I will try to post all the information about the A5 camera installation here, but there is still a long way to go.

Hi Slavik, I think it is also possible with the HBA.

Too many 'magical' advances for a caveman like me, I'd rather be the one to press the buttons...
One question, if the car crashes when using predictive systems, who pays the repair costs?😁

Now seriously, I already have the battery, but I'm doing the charge and discharge cycles so that it works at 100%, ... at the moment everything is correct.
Tomorrow I'll tell you something by email.

smg_shardul, I have accidentally deleted your post, I apologize.
(please, do not quote if it is the following post)

It is possible to modify the speed for the SCLs, but I do not know up to what speed it can be increased.
In the last tests I did (6R and Golf) it does not make sense beyond 70 km/h (mph?) for SCLs.

My current setting:
Address 09:
SECURITY ACCESS--> 31347
Adaptation

static AFS light-Oberer Lenkradwinkel,120 °,16 (upper steering wheel angle,65º)
static AFS light-Unterer Lenkradwinkel,80 °,16 (lower steering wheel angle,30º)
static AFS light-Upper speed threshold,40.0 km/h,16 (60km/h)

Shardul, I deleted your post, but because we are friends I tell you the following.
(it's nothing personal towards you it's dedicated to everyone so you don't need to answer below, we will remain friends in any case)

This is a thread dedicated to my wife's Golf and I will not allow anyone to hijack the interest that I may generate due to my efforts. Easy and simple to understand.

Before making any publication in this thread, you must take into account the following so that I do not delete your post:
- Nowhere in this thread is it said to be a technical support thread.
- DO NOT upload images to this thread of any kind, neither from your cars or personal affairs, nor stolen from the network, nor s**t images. You must create / open with your effort a new thread in this free forum, upload the images or information there and post the link here if you want to request my help. I will help in everything that is within my reach in that new thread.
- It is advisable to create / open a thread of your cars or personal matters as a logbook in this free forum, because if you are not willing to share, why should I?

Summarizing for ease of understanding of this, any post that approaches a lack of respect for my effort in this thread will be bluntly eliminated.
I will not discriminate between friends, good people, bad people or aliens, to make it totally clear.
Exceptions:
Administrators.

Notes:
- These are not my rules, they are basic rules of behavior.
- There is a huge amount of information on the network dedicated to VW's MQB platform. Use the search tools - waste your time on it.
- Do things in a proper way, I guarantee that you'll win.

Golf 7.5 Multicolor footwell LED lights.

Since my VW dealer no longer sells parts to me as an individual customer, and they refer me to buy VW parts from what I believe is a subcontractor local store (VW Pro Service), I have decided that from now on I will buy the parts in other places on the planet, preferably on Aliexpress, amazon, eBay, etc. 🤭
Easy, if I pay for brand new exclusive high-cost parts, I will only buy them in exclusive places, in this case, only in the spare parts section of 'my' Official VW dealer. I only argue with them and with VW customer service in case of disagreement 😆, I never argue with third parties. 🥱

Therefore I have bought these multicolor LED lights for MQB platform on Aliexpress:

The wiring is perfect, it even has an additional original connector to install many more multicolored LED lights, such as for a multicolored LED light in the front compartment of the central tunnel. :)

The funniest thing is that I would have paid the same amount of money as if I had bought them at my official VW dealer but without the wiring, which is not a problem for me.

I do not know the wonders that one has to do to make them work in OEM mode :mrgreen:, in the Aliexpress advertisement they also are indicated to work in OEM mode, with several positive feedback.

I'll try it like this. https://www.drive2.ru/l/538317595497988274/

We have the same nonsense here, so I decided to register myself as an independent car shop at the Chamber of Commerce. This way I'm able to order parts at the VW dealer. At a discount too!
