there was a tiny stone chip at the very bottom of the window right in front of the steering weel, now cos of the bloody boiling hot weather, a crack bout 6 inches long has formed straight up!!!
jus wanna now how much it is gonna be for a replacement to be fitted?
am i lookin at big money???
any help greatful

^^ as he says, the excess on windscreen insurance is only usually 50 quid. unless for some reason you don't have it?

i paid 125 quid for mine which wasn't bad, considering im only on 3rd party.
And like yours mine started off as quite a big crack due to hitting a tree, but in the heat it did slowly start to creep up the window and was an instant mot fail
